I grew up in Utah and spent most of my weekends hunting, fishing, hiking and exploring the great wild places in the west. This gave me a great appreciation for the outdoors and the beauty and peace that it offers.

My first camera was a Fujica STX-1, a film camera. I took a photography class in high school and I was able to roll my own canisters of film at the school. We would be given assignments and then we went into the darkroom and developed our own images. It's a little different today.

I embraced digital cameras the moment they came out seeing the value of using technology over analog film. I still love film, but with wildlife, the number of photos taken would be cost prohibitive.

I'm happy to present to you some of my favorite photos for your viewing pleasure.

My wife and I enjoy living in Florida but we travel all over the world seeking adventure and making memories.
